In a world filled with big-box gyms and online workout programs, boutique style group fitness gyms are carving out a special niche. These specialized gyms offer an experience that goes beyond just a good workout. They’re about community, personalized attention and a commitment to detail that makes every visit feel like something special. Zach and Nicole Rochette have created just that with their gym, StudioFit.

The first standout feature is their exceptional programming that is effective, but also constantly varied so you don’t get bored. The workouts are low intensity interval training where you move through different stations throughout the hour. You control your weight and intensity, so whether you’re a beginner or a seasoned athlete you can get the desired result you need, The days vary between lower, upper and full body focus. At the beginning of each class the trainers breakdown all the movements, complete with demos and modifications when applicable. They are not only extremely encouraging with fist bumps and high fives, but also quick to correct and help when needed. Between their energy and the always amazing playlists, you almost forget you’re exercising during that hour!

In addition to the top-notch programming, the sleek, modern design of the gym creates an inspiring atmosphere from the moment you walk in. The expression “it’s all in the details” totally applies to StudioFit. From the incredibly well laid out design with group fitness on one side and a separate area for one on one training sessions, to the most amazing hand soap in their bathrooms (no seriously!), and of course the coup de grace…the cold eucalyptus towels at the end of class, they’ve thought of everything. Coming from a CrossFit background where the gyms are predominately “no frills”, all the special touches at StudioFit are pretty amazing!

Another standout feature of this boutique-style gym is their strong sense of community. From group competitions and social events to the personalized approach of the trainers, members get to know each other, celebrate each other’s successes and form friendships that go beyond the gym walls. This is something typically lacking in a lot of gyms, but certainly not the case here.Β  After only being open for one year StudioFit has done such a great job fostering this community vibe. They’ve started a walking club, a pickleball club (even held a pickleball tournament with cash prizes!), they organize beach days, collabs with Lululemon as well as other monthly social events outside of the gym.

StudioFit’s motto, “Win the Hour”, seems to reflect their commitment to helping it’s members maximize their time and effort in each workout. With expert programming, a supportive community, and an environment designed to inspire, they will empower you to conquer your fitness goals one hour at a time. Check them out and discover the difference that winning each hour can make in your life.
